Our colleagues Jose Francisco Salinas and Eduardo Gonzalez Requeijo participated in the online conference “ONEBIM: The BIM advance in the Construction Industry sector”. The conference was organized by Eraikune, BIM Euskadi and Eusko Jaurlaritza – Basque Government last October 29th.
During the week of October 19-23, 2020 took place the “I iAtelier experimentation residency” organized by the teams of EXarchitects and Fábrica de Fabricantes for Fundesarte and EOID where 10 artisans, designers, artists or architects, investigated how to apply the different techniques of digital fabrication to their craft projects. Now for a while they will continue working from their workshops until the realization of the “II residency” also in the space of EXarchitects.
From EXarchitects, we want to share with you the laser cutting and 3D printing files that we use to do our bit. These days are our ears are going to suffer especially the rubber bands of the masks that are essential to combat the pandemic.
So that you can spend more fun this atypical book day 2020, from EXarchitects we leave you the .dxf file with the template to make personalized covers for your books or diaries with wood, using the wood bending technique known as “kerfing”.
For the second year, our colleagues have taught the class on 3D printed models. This class is part of the Master in Advanced Manufacturing (MIFA) of EDDM.

During the last weekend of September 2018 took place the 4th edition of the Architecture and City Festival Open House Madrid, where we had the opportunity and experience to collaborate making accreditations with digital fabrication, in our fablab, as well as to enjoy and discover many impressive corners.
Undoubtedly one of our most memorable collaborations, our first experience with Formula Student with one of the best teams in Madrid, Fomula Universidad Carlos 3 de Madrid. The digital fabrication team of EXarchitects carried out the machining of the molds to make the monocoque of the single-seater.
This July, we have been interviewed by the digital magazine 3Dnatives, specialized in 3D printing. Our CEO Roque Peña, was in charge of answering their questions and interests about us. One of the main projects that caught their attention about us, was our project EXfood 3D printing food and industrial robotics.
