Airbus & Altran Drone
The drone (UAV) was designed by Airbus & Altran in which the EXarchitects team has been able to participate in its manufacturing process from our fablab in Villaviciosa de Odón.
Our participation has consisted in the application of our knowledge and experience in digital manufacturing for the realization of the fairing molds. These molds have been CNC machined using high-density foam as material. This Drone is a functional prototype of a 2 m wingspan, at a 1:4 scale of the final aircraft.
